Praxair North America Industrial Gases is currently seeking an (ERP)S & ES Specialist I in Kansas City, MO.

You will be responsible for working with line management to ensure support is provided in achieving zero/zero performance goals in safety, health and environmental; implementing safe and environmentally compliant standard work practices with line personnel; identifying opportunities to improve safely performance and taking proactive actions to implement; monitoring local OSHA, EPA, SOT and ISO requirements and standards along with company policies and standards to ensure compliance; supporting all accident/incident investigation, reporting and facilitation of Root Cause Analysis; performs industrial hygiene monitoring; preparing and submitting environmental reports as required by regulations and permits; and providing active support to site locations by training employees on requirement and assisting the site to ensure environmental permit compliance, and developing environmental and safety compliance assistance tools.

To qualify, you must have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of Safety/Environmental experience. Strong environmental background, certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification, authorized trainer of OSHA 10 hr and 30 safety courses for General or Construction Industry are preferred.

Safety/DOT Manager (7-1-08)

Faultless Linen, a well established and growing laundry services company, with locations in Kansas City, St. Louis and Denver, is seeking a Safety/DOT Manager to provide leadership and work collaboratively with the plants in the areas of safety, DOT, workers compensation and other human resources related areas. We are seeking an energetic and well versed professional who has a track record of success in these areas.

The manager will, for all locations, conduct safety audits, develop and conduct safety training, investigate incidents, and maintain appropriate records. The incumbent will take the lead in ensuring that all DOT processes and records are in compliance with federal regulations as well as serve as the internal focal point for preventing and managing workers compensation claims. Quarterly travel to all locations is required, as well as occasional conference travel.

Requirements: Preferred candidates will have at least 3 years relevant experience in an industrial facility, with extensive experience managing the DOT process and recordkeeping. Experience with workers compensation is strongly desired. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Site Safety and Health Officer– Level 5 (6-8-08)

Watts Constructors, LLC is seeking safety professionals with 10 years of safety work of a progressive nature with at least 5 years construction experience on military construction projects to join our Safety Team. The position is Site Safety and Health Officer, to oversee site safety on a military project on Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. Candidates must have good communications skills and be able to interact with all organizational levels. OSHA 30 Hour or equivalent and Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification required. Must have average of at least 24 hours of formal safety training documented each year for the past 5 years.
